An Introduction to Slot Machine Games
Slot machines are possibly the most popular games to gamble on at casinos. On any given night, bargain on most of the machines to be packed with eager players. Prior to this invention, the term "slot machines" was employed to describe different types of vending machines.
The first real across the board use of slot machines in US brick and mortar casinos is credited to the Flamingo Hotel, Las Vegas somewhere around the 40’s. The owner of the betting house had originally thought the slot machines would be great to intrigue bored wives of a few of the biggest high roller customers of the betting house. He didn’t know that slot games would be an exciting game for nearly everyone and that the appeal would go beyond the the bored wives. Now, it is said, slot machines make up over 2/3rds of all income generated by U.S. brick and mortar casinos.
Slot machines beyond a doubt have a rich history. From the petite invention of the mid-19th century to the billion dollar industry of today, the slots will continue to grow in prominence.
